Stratostria by Sadie Zeedrich, Aiden Pearson, Jasmine Pearson, Keaton Ramey, Josef Arnold

Logline: In the land above the clouds, a boy named Eryth lives with his tribe. They call the land of Eebe their home, a place made up of many small floating islands settled high above the world of Stratostria. All he knows about that world is that it’s safer for them to stay away from those larger islands and settlements. When a merchant shows up to Eebe wounded, Ereth finds his morals clashing with the tribe’s secrecy. What comes next has the chance to change everything, and possibly spell disaster.

Genre: Sword and Sorcery + Social Science Fiction

Synopsis: An avian named Ereth lives with his tribe in the scattered land of Eebe, where not many are even aware of their existence. A wounded merchant, Lona, ends up in Eebe, and the tribe decides to leave her for dead, valuing their secrecy. Ereth defies this and goes to help them, getting wound up in their conflict over a book sought after by Thanish, a member of a cult called Crux Vitalt.

Ereth tries to help them while they recover, taking on odd jobs and learning he makes a great merchant in this world, able to fly between islands without an aircraft. During one shipment, he narrowly avoids death in a clash with Thanish, but he does get severely injured by a lightning spell conjured by Thanish while escaping.

Realizing the danger, he goes back to Eebe to hide this book but gets caught both by his tribe and Thanish, which starts a battle for their lives. The Eebian tribe narrowly wins, and they agree to try and work with the other peoples of Stratostria. Ereth entrusts the book the cult sought to them and returns to work with Lona.
